Options Tab Layout


Allow user to modify Configuration and Schema containers in Active Directory

Use this checkbox to control whether users of this profile will see the Directory tab of the Options dialog. In addition to the Schema and Configuration folders, this tab also allows the user to show Deleted Items in the Active Directory tree.

Set Global Password Options



Check the box to set the Global Password Options for the profile. These options include how to generate passwords, whether to create password files, and whether to conceal the password in any tool output. These settings will act as the default values for all tools in the program, and the user will not be able to set their own defaults on the Options dialog. However, the user can override these settings when running a tool, or save different settings on a per-tool basis.

Set Global Add Digit Options



Check the box to set the Global Add Digit Options for the profile. These options are used to specify how the %AddDigits% parameter works throughout ADHQ. It has options for how many digits are added, whether to add digits all the time or only when necessary, and whether to pad the digits with 0s. These settings will act as the default values for all tools in the program, and the user will not be able to set their own defaults on the Options dialog. However, the user can override these settings when running a tool, or manually specify different settings each time the %AddDigits% parameter is used.

Set Global Tool Output Options



Check the box to set the Global Tool Output Options for the profile. These options include whether to automatically save the tool output file, and whether to send an email whenever a tool finishes executing. These settings will act as the default values for all tools in the program, and the user will not be able to set their own defaults on the Options dialog. However, the user can override these settings when running a tool, or save different settings on a per-tool basis.

Check the box to set the Global Report Output Options for the profile. These options include whether to automatically save the report file or the output file, and whether to send an email whenever a report finishes executing. These settings will act as the default values for all reports in the program, and the user will not be able to set their own defaults on the Options dialog. However, the user can override these settings when running a specific report, or save different settings on a per-report basis.
